Janne Jerkku is an experienced international business leader with over 30 years of experience in renewable energy, project development, and cross-border operations. Known for his analytical mindset and collaborative approach, he brings deep expertise in financial modelling, strategic partnerships, and complex project leadership. 

Before joining Nordic BioPower, he led the global promotion of Finnish natural superfoods at Boshory Finland Oy, developed solar and battery projects across Finland and the Baltics at Panelimeri Oy, and advised Retec In Ltd on SAF and waste-to-ethanol initiatives aligned with Europes Fit for 55 goals. 

Patrik Nordström

Patrik Nordström

Chief Operating Officer

Patrik Nordström has over 30 years of international experience in the process and manufacturing industries. He is responsible for operations and development across the Nordic BioPower Group, including the facilities in Davidstad and Höganäs. His background includes senior production roles at Imerys, Calderys and Nordkalk, with extensive experience in biofuels, energy optimisation and production management.

Jarkko Haarala leads operations at Nordic BioPower’s Davidstad facility, with responsibility for production efficiency, workplace safety and product quality. 

George Johnny Capor

George Johnny Capor

Chairman of the Board

George Johnny Capor, Chairman of the Board of Nordic BioPower, has over 30 years of international experience as a corporate executive, CFO and strategic advisor. He has served as Group CFO and Deputy CEO of KF, with responsibility for finance, banking, real estate and investments in a group of more than 8,000 employees and a turnover of EUR 3.5 billion. George has extensive experience in international M&A, financial restructuring and investment management, and has held senior board positions at Folksam and Andra AP-fonden. 

Christer Elmehagen

Christer Elmehagen

Board member

Christer Elmehagen is a Swedish business executive with a background in law, economics and as a reserve officer. He served as CEO of the pension fund AMF Pension from 1998 to 2008 and currently holds several board positions in the private sector, including Chairman of Optimalprint A/S. He has also served as Chairman of Micronic AB.

Christer is Vice Chairman of the Swedish Employers’ Association for Insurance Companies and a board member of the Swedish Insurance Federation.
