New Multifuel Burner to Strengthen Production at Davidstad

Nordic BioPower AB (NBP) is pleased to announce that the new multifuel burner ordered for the Davidstad site in November 2025 is now in the project phase and full operational capacity is expected to be reached in September.
This long-awaited piece of equipment is a major step forward for the Davidstad site. Once fully operational, it will bring several material improvements:
  • The site's drum dryer will be able to run at its full designed capacity.
  • Production capacity will increase and become more stable.
  • The site will move away from the fossil fuels used for drying in the past - a significant improvement in profitability, with drying costs expected to decrease by around 80%.
Taken together, the new burner puts NBP in a strong position to meet demand for the coming heating season.
